A hovercraft, also known as air-cushion vehicle (ACV) is a vehicle that can be supported by a cushion of air ejected downwards against a surface close below it and can travel over any smooth surface. This unique vehicle is becoming popular among stag parties. At first look, the craft would seem to be difficult to handle. But after a getting familiar with it, which in itself is a challenge, you will find this machine too incredible to resist. Hovercrafts can be maneuvered both on water and on land. Today, there are an increasing number of homebuilt and kit-built hovercraft used for recreation purposes mainly on inland lakes and rivers but also in marshy areas and some estuaries.
